MACKENZIE, Judith Mary (Judy) (nee Bull). Born September 28, 1930. Passed away on October 30, 2023. Judith (Judy) Mary MacKenzie, nee Bull, of Mt Eden Gardens, aged 93 years, died peacefully on 30/10/23 after a short illness. Dearly loved wife of Donald, (deceased) and dearly loved partner of Max, (deceased). Dearly loved mother of Rod and Kirsten, step mother to Karen and Steve, Grandmother to Tim, Doug, Alex, Sarah and Rory, Connor and Gene. Great grand mother to Lachlan. A celebration of Judy's life will be held on 7/11/23 at 467 Mt Eden Rd, 3pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Mercy Hospice Ponsonby.

I was very sorry to learn of Judy's recent passing. I worked closely with her over a 20+ year time in health social work Wellington. She made significant and far reaching improvements in standards and professionalism in mental health services. Personally, she was a great mentor, supervisor, coach, colleague and friend and greatly helped me in my professional development. She will be sorely missed. My sympathy to her family over this time of loss.
