My first employers - Percy, Bruce and Stewart. Stalwarts of the community. Bruce was always the elegant one. Soft spoken, a voice that belonged on media. Meticulous - the glass house with the cooked topsoil. That was Bruce.

Condolences to Lynne and the family. A good friend of my father, Bill Barnaby, always respected - and now no doubt having a meeting of some sort together.

Bruce and my brother Philip (d.2023) were lifelong friends from their first year at Pukekohe High. That link has bonded our two families through 70+ years, Bruce and Lynne, Phil and Pat sharing joys (mostly) and sorrows. Heartfelt thanks to the Grahams for all they've given to us and to their wider community, and loving thoughts to Lynne and family.
