Judith Anne FORDYCE

Judith FORDYCE Obituary

FORDYCE, Judith Anne (Judy). Born 21 June 1938, Rotorua. Judy passed away suddenly at home on Friday 13th June 2025. She was the devoted wife of Barry for 65 years, and a loving mother and mother-in- law to Brett and Francis, and Miles and Lyn. A treasured Nana to Annabel, Lachlan, Juliet, and Christopher, Judy will be deeply missed by her family and her many friends. Judy was an accomplished sportswoman who continued to play both golf and tennis right up until her passing. There will now be no more holes in one. She embraced life with enthusiasm and found joy in sewing, her Mahjong and tending to her flower garden and every manner of floral arrangement. A private funeral is being arranged. A memorial service will be held at a later date, to be advised.

Dear Barry, Brett and Francis Miles and Lyn, Annabel, Juliette, Lachlan and Christopher,

I still can not believe that my dearest friend Judy has passed. And not long after Neil.

I will treasure all my memories of Judy....her smile, her energy, her fantastic cooking, her amazing sewing and her devoted love of her family.

I am so sorry for your loss, thinking of you all and wish I could attend. And whilst I can not make the journey due to my our health and wellbeing my thoughts and heart will be with you all on Saturday.
