So sad to learn of Judy's passing. She was a great inspiration and friend during our Operatic days in Dunedin during the late '60s. Such a talented and lovely person. My condolences to Roy and the family.

We were very sad to hear of your loss Roy. Judy was a true gem. There is a generation of young Alexandra musicians, including our own kids, who will attest to that. I hope her final days were peaceful for all. Arohanui from both of us.

PS. We´re currently staying with Hamish in San Francisco. He fondly remembers her casting him as God in a school musical at The Terrace School. I was going to attach a picture of the son of God, but thought Hamish might object.

Dear Roy and family
The late Rima and I have many happy memories of friendship with you and Judy in both Alexandra and Mamgawhao.
I can see her at the piano in Letts Gully, and amongst the flowers at Blossom Festival floats. A beautful and charming woman who will be sorely missed. My heartfelt condolences to you all

Hi Roy and family, a very sad time for you all, we did not know Judy that well but what we did know was that she was held in very high regard for the many things she did in the community. You will miss your sole mate Roy and I imagine it will be a tough time for you, just remember that there is always a friend not far away who is prepared to help and listen. Our thoughts are with you Roy.

I will not forget Judy singing in the Old Open Air Auditorium at the start of our cycling tour of the South of France. her rendition of God Defend NZ (English and Maori) was better than a number of versions we have had to put up with before All Black tests. I also remember how enthusiastic "Nurse Judy" was tending to Roy's injuries in a rather sensitive part of the body after his lack of preparation showed it's ugly head. Or should that be ugly tail.
Travel well Judy and Rest in Peace. Our thoughts are with the family.
