Juan MATTEUCCI Memoriam

MATTEUCCI, Juan O B E. On 13-10-1990 In memory of Juan Matteucci, world famous Symphony Orchestra Conductor. Musical Director of the N.Z.B.C. Symphony Orchestra from 1965-69, the Symphonia of Auckland, Conductor for the New Zealand Ballet, and Musical Director of Auckland Mercury Opera. Conducted orchestras throughout the USA, China and the USSR, among many other engagements in New Zealand and internationally. Fondly remembered by his wife Connie and family, colleagues, students, and concert and opera enthusiasts.

his daughter Maria was a friend of my mothers and babysat me when I was little..xx
