Joyce RHODES Obituary

RHODES, Joyce Irene (Joy) (nee Mathers). Joy died peacefully on 24 July at Hibiscus Hospice in her 92nd year. Loving wife of the late Charles (Charlie). Loving mother and mother in law of Marion, Ngaire and John, Ken and Jillian, Don and Rosie, Wendy and grandmother of Alan, Darren, Michelle, Todd, Lara, Amanda and Paul and great grandmother of Samantha. Loved sister and sister in law of Shirley and Ian, Hazel, the late Ron, Lorna and Dudley. A service to celebrate Joy's life will be held at 2pm on Friday 27th July in the chapel of Forrest Funeral Services, 39 Riverside Road Orewa. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated please to Hibiscus Hospice, PO Box 66, Whangaparoa 0943.

I haven't know Joy very long. What a lovely lady she was, who shared lots of her busy life memories with me. It was lovely to have know Joy. I would like to wish my condolences to her lovely family, who she always loved to talk about with pride.
