Joyce McCoy Obituary

McCOY, Joyce Isabella (Joy) (formerly Hicks, nee West - of Raetihi). On April 1, 2011 peacefully - at Monte Vista Rest Home, Taupo. In her 88th year. Loved wife of the late Trevor McCoy, and the late Jack Hicks; most loved and treasured Mum of Robyn and Kevin Wanden (Taupo), John and Donna Hicks (Marton), David and Diane Hicks (Australia), Denis and Patti Hicks (Australia), dearly loved Nana of her 11 grandchildren and loved Nana Joy of her 7 great grandchildren. Youngest, and last surviving child of the late George and Eliza West (of Ruatiti Valley, Raetihi). A service to celebrate Joy's life will be held at the Founders Chapel of Remembrance, Rickit Street, Taupo on Wednesday (April 6) at 2.00pm to be followed by burial at the Raetihi Cemetery on Thursday (April 7) at 11.00am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lake Taupo Hospice Trust (Inc), would be appreciated and may be left at the service or sent to PO Box 950, Taupo.
