IRVING, Joyce Noël Patricia (formerly Mowbray) (nee Michell). On 9 February 2022 at Ranfurly Hospital, Auckland. After a rich and full life Joyce passed away peacefully aged 101. Loved wife of the late Neil Mowbray and the late James (Jim) Irving. Dear mother and mother-in-law of John and Carol and the late Faith, Tisha and Garry, the late Timothy and Marie, Mary, Michael and Helen, Fiona, Deidre (Dee) and Dennis. Treasured Granny of Shaun and Cathie, Tristen and Michael, Brett and Leizl, Rachel and Alston, Bronwyn and Todd, Michael and Kathryn, Anna, Paul and Catriona, Kylie and Richard, Damian and Jane, Meghan and Dane, Nick and Miu, Annie and Simon, Stuart and Courtney, Richard and Katie, Matthew and Jane, Sam and Coco, Alister and Gracie and George and Pernilla. She was the loving GG of her great grandchildren, Jasper, Sari and Benson, Cody and Sarah, Seth and Brad, Jared, Becky and Zac, Thomas and Emily, Locke and Kenna, Cassie, Clover, Zia and Honey, Hadlee, Rachel, Harry and Maggie, Joel, Jenna, Charlotte and Lucy. Loved aunt of Eric and Pam Michell and Helen and Brian Scholfield, and of Lynn Irving and Richard Chelley. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Remuera Gardens and Ranfurly Hospital for their care of Joyce. A Service to celebrate Joyce's life will be held in St Mary's-in- Holy Trinity Cathedral, 446 Parnell Road, Auckland at 11am on Wednesday 16 February 2022 followed by a private cremation.Due to the current covid restrictions, numbers are limited and vaccine passes will be required.
