Joyce GLYNN Obituary

GLYNN, Joyce Hastings (nee Tighe-Umbers). WW11 Reg No W/131822 Passed away on 26 December 2013 at Meadowbank Hospital, aged 90. Much loved mother leaves behind Susan and John Gilbert; Wendy Tighe-Umbers and David Jones; Warren and Pat Glynn; and Russell and Merilyn Glynn. Grannie to Reuben, Dalziel, Shelley, Marni, Ben and Katie, and "old Grannie" to Jacob and Peta. A special thank you to the staff at the Meadowbank Resthome and Hospital for all their wonderful care. Joyce's long life will be honoured and celebrated at 9a Logan Tce, Parnell on Monday 30th December 2013 at 2pm.

In the short time we have known you, you were a shining light in our lives and it was a pleasure to have met you, with your bubbly laugh and big sense of humour. Deepest sympathy to the rest of the family. We will be especially thinking of you on Monday even though we cant be there.
