Joyce DONOHOE Obituary

DONOHOE, Joyce Mary (Joy). Born 4 January 1933. Passed away peacefully on 30 August 2025 at Logan Campbell Village, aged 92 years. Much loved wife of the late Francis (Frank), and dearly loved mother and mother-in- law of Angela, Cathy and Rocky, Janine and Paddy, Clare, Brendan and Monique. Cherished Nana to Regan, Jack, Caitlin, Emily, Finn, Rory, Niamh, Sean, Clare, Donacha, Lucia, Vito (in Heaven) and Vinnie. Joy's Requiem Mass will be held at St Therese Catholic Church, 463 Mt Albert Road, Three Kings on Thursday 4 September at 11am. In loving memory of our esteemed Joy who together with her dear departed husband and our uncle Francis ( Frank) brought such energy and positivity to everything and everyone they touched throughout their long and fulfilled lives .
They epitomised the beautiful line from Seamus Heaney :
" Believe that further shore is reachable from here"
From The Donohoe siblings originally from the old homestead in Gortlemon, Galway, Ireland.
