Joyce DEVITT Obituary

DEVITT, Joyce (Ola). Passed away peacefully on 30th October 2016 at Gracedale Home and Hospital, Mt Roskill. Cherished wife of the late Reg. Loved mother of Adrian and Tony and mother in law of Vanessa and Colleen. Grandmother of Rachael (and her husband Grant), Michael (and his wife Mazz), and Liam. Great grandmother of Shania, Elise, Ema, Danielle, Benjamin and Dean. Very special Aunt of Christina. A requiem mass will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, corner of West Coast Road and Glendale Road, Glen Eden on Friday 4th November 2016 at 11am. Wonderful memories of Reg and Ola in the Hibiscus Coast parish,in the old church in Orewa,Reg,the best ever sacristan,both involved Legion of Mary and lots of other parish groups and activities.Reg and Ola were well loved by the parish,their home always open,friends to out many parish priests over the years.
Heaven welcomes another good and faithfull servant.

Dear Adrian, Tony & families.

My deepest sympathy to you all. A generation of the Curry family now gone with the passing of your mum. My memories of Aunty Ola are of a great organiser and involved in the church and community. A busy lady. May she rest in peace.
