Dear Mr Mckinnon and family, I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of such a beautiful person. Mrs Mckinnon coached me as a child in netball and later on, helped me when I was struggling as a pregnant mum and later a new mum. Mrs Mckinnon worked at the Putaruru food bank, and gave me extras in my parcels and Mr and Mrs Mckinnon would bring food to me at my little flat in Putaruru. She always visited me, as I was very lonely at that time, I was by myself. I remember Mr and Mrs Mckinnon also dropped by just before Christmas and gave me a lovely present, a box of sampler biscuits, I thought that was so nice. Mrs Mckinnon always kept in touch with me over the years, even though I have been in Australia for a very long time. I truly appreciate all Mrs Mckinnon has done for me, both Mr and Mrs Mckinnon have always been so kind to me and I am truly thankful. I send my love to you Mr Mckinnon, at this very sad time. I know Mrs Mckinnon always told me to call her Joy, but it just didn't and still doesn't feel right. I hope Mrs Mckinnon is at peace and happy. I send my love to Mrs Mckinnon, Mr Mckinnon, and the Minion family.
