Joy MAJOR Obituary

God bless Joy and the amazing WWII war brides. My mother, Paddie Davis Major, born and raised in New Zealand, emigrated from Sydney, Australia in 1946 as the war bride of Army Sgt. Eugene C. Major, settled in Ohio. She was always homesick for "home" while being a proud American. I still have many cousins in NZ and OZ. Paddie passed on March 26, 2023 and the age of 101 and 1 month. Amazing women, those war brides! Gay and family, I will keep you and your beautiful family in my thoughts and prayers.

Condolences to the family Great Aunty Joy my mothers most special Auntie Joy....such a sweet soft kind person that Mum always spoke about so highly, I love the story about Aunty Joy helping Mum and Dad with their wedding and the wedding dress so very kind and caring to do that, now they are reunited heaven received another Angel
