Joy ELSMORE Obituary

ELSMORE, Joy Ellen. Passed away on July 3 2023, aged 97 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Henri . Much loved Mother and Mother-in- law of Judy and Don Cameron, Rosemary and the late Garry Fitzgerald, Grant Elsmore and Roz Green, Val Elsmore and Andrew Boulton and their Sophie Dog. Loving Nana Joy to Victoria (Parcy) and Olivia, Samantha and Marsha, Sarah and Amelia. Loving Great Grandmother- Nana Joy to Chase and Lexie, Cameron, Mason and Maia, Ari and soon to be born Baby Wilson. Joy, who enjoyed a happy and fulfilled life, will be sadly missed by her family. The family would like to thank the kind carers at Elizabeth Knox Care Home and Hospital for their gentle care of Joy. The family are gathering to celebrate Joy's life.

Hello Grant and family - I was very sad to read of Joy's passing. I remember her as such a kind and gracious person. It's many years since I have seen Joy, but Grant will remember how welcome she made me in the family home at 44A Armadale Road during those hectic law school years.
