Joy DAVIDSON Obituary

DAVIDSON, Joy Ella. Passed away peacefully on 6 January 2025 at Summerset by the Park. Dearly loved wife of the late John and much loved mother and mother in law of Ian and Carolyn, Raewyn and Ray, Heather and Merv, and Kevin and Linda. Special Nana to 16 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. A family burial will be held, followed by a Memorial Service at Howick Community Church, 120 Picton Street, Howick on Saturday 18 January at 2pm. Live stream of the service will be available on hcc.co.nz/live. Till we meet again.

Joy was such a lovely person who radiated her love of her Saviour. When I was a student at Ardmore Teachers College in 1962 John and Joy had us students home for Sunday lunch. As a young man away from family their hospitality was so much appreciated. Joy's cooking was amazing
