Jos, I have just heard of your passing and feel very sad. I will always remember your spirit and sense of humour, and the great times we had at Mink Cafe and Oh Calcutta, catching up and discussing politics and so on, over the last 20 years. We were due to meet for a curry in early May but it was put off because you were not well. Thank you for all the good times, the laughs, and Christmas Day at your place one year. Go well my friend, I will miss you. With love and hugs, Claire x

Sorry I never got to know you better, Jos - but rest assured we shall all be missing you in our cards group. Your enthusiasm for any card games was contagious. Best wishes to all members of the whanau and I share your grief about the loss of a highly valued member of our community.

Jos - many happy memories over the last 50 years. With Bron and I we 3 often relived the `olden days´ of working together in NZ´s emerging freight industry. You went on to bigger things - running your own company- and making a success of it. More lately the 3 of us have shared lunches and dinners with much fun and laughter- alas we are now the 3 Amigos no longer. We have no doubt you will keep them on their toes upstairs. You will hold a place in our lives that can never leave us.
