Josephine Bremner Obituary

BREMNER, Josephine Mary (nee Sheppard). Born Christchurch 18 June 1935 the youngest child of Clyde and Alice slipped away peacefully at 8.35 pm on 13 June 2011 in the Wellington Regional Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Walton. Loved Mother and Mother-in-Law of the late Alexandra Louise, Diana and Stuart Brown (Whitianga), James and Daninka (New Orleans, USA). Proud nana/ grandma of Alexandra Lucy; John Sebastian James, James Nestor Walton and Daniella Josefina. Loved sister and sister-in-law of the late Donald and Janice (Christchurch); Margaret and the late Robert Edwards (Christchurch) and the late Gordon and Jenny (Clover Bay, Marlborough Sounds). Attentive god mother of Averill Commons (Christchurch), David Hercus (Germany) and Sandra Macdonald (Christchurch). Caring sister in law of the late James and Beverley Bremner (Christchurch). Loved by her many nephews, nieces and great nieces, nephews. Diana and James would like to sincerely thank her many fantastic friends for all the support that she has received in these past few weeks. It meant so much to her and to us also. You were there for her when we could not be. We also extend our grateful thanks to her friends at Sprott House for the love and attention that she received throughout her many, many years of association with you all.
