PERE, Joseph Te Kani Anaru Hetekia. Passed away peacefully on 7 October 2012 at age of 77 years after a long illness, at Cranford House Hospice, Hastings. Loving and adored husband of Rangimarie Rosemarie Lambert. Special father of Katherine and Moanaroa Pere. Koro of Iriheke, Te Hira, Mathew, Natalia, Caroline Pere and Koro rua of Tarquin and Dayton Pere. Eldest son of Ngarangi Maraki and Te Kani Pere. Eldest brother of Bill (deceased), Bob (deceased), Jack, Susan, Anne and Noi. Finally at peace my love. Communications to Rongopai Marae, Waituhi, Gisborne. Funeral will be held 11.30 am Thursday 11 October 2012 at Rongopai and interment at Rongopai Urupa.
