Joseph DOHERTY Obituary

A long time ago now when we lost Joe. He was a colleague in the Sate Services Commission Social Impact Unit in 1987 and 1988. Members of that unit have met this week, July 2025. We planted a tree for Joe, along with trees for five other members of our social impact assessment colleagues who have passed away.

So sad to hear this news. Joe was a very special person with a huge heart and will be greatly missed. Love and strength to all his friends and family.

So very saddened to hear this sad news of Joe's death, our thoughts and prayers are with the whanau. I enjoyed my time serving with Joe on the Poutiri Trust Board as trustees. With much respect and fond memories. A true gentleman.
