VAN Der Laan, Jose Born 11-04-1938. Passed away on 17-05-2015. Dearly loved wife of Anton, mother to Andrew, Simon and Michelle and Oma to Ajda, Emre, Oscar, Alexander and Maya. A service will be held at All Saints Chapel, Purewa, 101-102 St Johns Road, Meadowbank on Thursday 21st May 2015 at 1.30pm followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice New Zealand, PO Box 6660, Wellington, New Zealand would be appreciated.

Dear family,
I have heard very late that your mother passed away, which is so sad to hear for me, and my family in Deventer! I do remember your mother Always a such a great lady, very kind, friendly, lots of love and a very nice sense of humor. I really wish you al, the strenghts to remind all the good things about her live, memories will never go, she and her husband were for you a great parents, although I have never seen them in normal live togehter ( once at hliday time in Deventer) and hope that with the strong family you are all together able to overcome this situation.Wish you a lot of peace and love, a lost nevew form Holland.. Hi Andrew Simon and Michelle ,
So sad to hear about Jose 's passing although she is with Anton now and I can just about hear their conversation! Always loved them as part of our life in Napier ,they were the best!
Please know that if you're ever in Taranaki you are most welcome at our home.
Mum and Dad (Joop and Fien) also were saddened to hear of Jose's passing although comforted to know she is no longer suffering

To my dearest Auntie, so many wonderful memories of happy times together, swimming in your pool, sharing your warm and gezellig hospitality and above all - shopping! So glad we got to share some special times recently. My love and prayers to Andrew, Simon and Michelle and their families. Jose touched many lives and she will be very sadly missed. Love Bernadine

Sorry to hear of the passing of your mum. I have fond memories of her as I grew up in Rothwell Place.She would always stop and give my brother and I a ride to school when it was raining. I remember we were always welcome at your house. RIP Jose.
