Wood, John Wilkinson. John Wilkinson Wood passed away peacefully at home on 26th August 2025, aged 92. Cherished husband of 69 years to Thelma Wood, dearly loved father to Neville, Joanne and Lesleigh, their partners Susan, Ross and Robert, cherished Grandad of six grandchildren, and proud Great-Grandad of five. He lived a long and happy life, finding great joy in time spent with family and friends over the years. Fond memories from recent family gatherings and summers at Whangamata to everyday moments with Thelma by his side at home. A service to celebrate his life will be held at St Thomas's Church, Kohimarama on Monday 1st September at 1pm.
