John WOOD Obituary

WOOD, John Milton. Peacefully on November 25, 2017 aged 89 years. Loved husband of the late Margaret. Loved father and father in law of Carolyn, Robyn and Geoff, and Andrew. A loved grandfather of 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. A service for John will be held at St Columba Presbyterian Church, 502 Otumoetai Rd, Tauranga on Friday 1st December (tomorrow) at 10.30am, followed by private cremation. Messages to the Wood family C/- PO Box 650, Tauranga 3140.

My condolences on John's death. He was truly a great servant of the dairy industry and a man before his time in technical matters. He was one of the first managers who interviewed me for a job in the Dairy industry - he always remembered; he was a great gentlemen and a real chemical engineer. It was a privilege to know him.
