WHITNEY, John Grey (Grey). On Friday 12 May 2023 peacefully in his sleep at age 98. Dearly loved husband of Joy and adored father and father-in-law of Ken and Rose and Christine and Peter. Beloved Grandad of Max, Sophie, Alan and Karen, Roger and Sophie. Loved great-grandfather of Clare, Roger, Allegra and Georgia. One of nature's gentlemen, your devotion to your family and interest in all our activities inspired and encouraged us and will never be forgotten. Special thanks to the staff of Edmund Hillary Residential Care for your kind and considerate care of Grey in his last months. A service to celebrate Grey's life will be held at the All Souls Chapel, Purewa Crematorium, 100 St Johns Road, Meadowbank at 1 pm on Thursday 18 May. All communications to Sibuns Funeral Directors.
