John WATSON Obituary

WATSON, John Edward. Born May 1, 1928. Passed away on October 9, 2024. John passed away at Ryman's Rest Home in Devonport, Auckland, aged 96. Beloved husband of the late Carol. Cherished father of Charles, Bob, and Margaret. Treasured grandfather and great-grandfather to many. John's quick wit and warm humor brought joy to everyone who knew him. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the compassionate staff at Ryman's for their dedicated care and support. He will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of his company.

Many laughs, witty humour, singing every day, loving nature and the outdoors, an adventurous and curious mind. Honest and upright you were a rock in our lives for many years, a dad and then a dear friend, so happy for Mum you've been able to move on :)
