Dear Loes and family. How sad we are to hear of your sudden loss. What a tragedy. John was such a nice friendly kind person, always interested in what others were doing or attempting to do. We enjoyed living nearby in Te Whiti for 25 years and have lots of lovely memories of social get togethers.
John will be greatly missed by so many.
RIP dear John
We are sorry we can't be with you on Thursday but will be thinking of you.

Dear Loes and Family of John, like you all and his friends, we were all stunned to learn of John`s sudden death. As an old Whanganui Collegiate 1959er, we are all a very tight bunch and losing one of our number is always a particularly sad occasion. My deepest sympathies go to you all and especially Loes as we all remember not just a gentleman, but a very gentle man. RIP Johnny Wardell (S 1959-63)
