John WALTER Obituary

Lynn and family,
Gay and I have just heard about John's passing while on our South Island journey. We regret that we have not been able to be present in Tuakau for you all, but wish to send you our sincere and heart felt condolences at this time. Gay especially remembers fondly the jokes and comments shared with John on the side line of many rugby matches and we both valued the part you both played in our church congregation and the wider Onewhero community.

WALTER, Louis John. Dearly loved brother of Pae and the late Tad Forgie, Robin and Lorraine, Dick and the late Ruth, and Peter and Lee. A brave fighter to the end.

WALTER, L J (John) Highly esteemed and greatly respected Life Member of the Onewhero Rugby Football Club. John's bravery, determination, humour and courage over recent years has been a real inspiration.
