John WAKEMAN Obituary

WAKEMAN, John Stuart. Passed away peacefully on Saturday 8th February 2025 at James Wattie Retirement Village aged 85 years. Dearly loved husband of Sue, and much loved father and father- in-law to Chris and Sarah, Jo and Mat, Penny and Sam. Treasured grandfather of Julia, William and George, Gordy, Abbie and Lucy, and Amy, Emily and Johnny. A special thanks to the staff at James Wattie Retirement Village for all the love and ongoing care given to John. A service to celebrate the life of John, will be held at Lindisfarne College, Pakowhai Road, Hastings on Thursday 13th February at 12.30pm. In lieu of flowers donations to Motor Neurone Disease NZ would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
