So sorry to hear of John's passing. Our thoughts are with Jan and the family

John Turner - What will the bay be without you? A friend, a repair man and boat launching and recovery expert - 25 years of relying on John at Taupo bay over. What a character and what a man. My family will miss you John including my daughters dogs! Thinking of you Jan and family. Dave and Andrea Melville.

Known John since the early 60's. Always a character. Some good memories and will be sadly missed.

So sad to hear the news of John passing he was a great go to person with any caretaker problems, he could fix anything a skill that will be missed in Taupo Bay.
And yes we have all had some great parties and pig on the spit set up by John.
And behind every good man is a wonderful woman.

JT, a loved family man, a mad keen hunter nick named Crocodile Dundee, Dr John from his time as an army medic and Mr Fix-it to Taupo Bay. When the cries go out for help around the bay "where´s John?" they will fall silent.

Very sad to hear of John's passing, having known John and Jan from before they were married and although we lived many miles apart, we certainly had good times together when we met up at various gatherings, we will miss you dearly, RIP JT

John was known as the caretaker and Mister Fix It of Taupo Bay. Your work is now done John, rest in peace. Love to Jan and the family.
