STICKLER, John William (Jack). Passed away peacefully on Sunday 16 November 2014, after a long and brave battle. Adored husband for 57 years to Fiona. Much loved father and father-in-law to Alan, Karen and Terry, Jan and Alan. Grandad to Jessie, Jim, Clair, Scott, Aaron, Jason and Charlotte, Alex and Kassandra. Great grandad to Ellie, Dahlia, Mikayla and Britney. "You will always be in our hearts, loved forever." A service for Jack will be held in the Chapel of Howick Funeral Home, 35 Wellington Street, Howick, Auckland on Friday November 21, 2014 at 11:00 am to be followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations to St John Ambulance Private Bag 14902, Panmure, Auckland 1072 would be very much appreciated. Dear Fiona,
I truly hope that this message gets to you on this site and in spite of the long delay. I only saw this on the Facebook today (Dec. 2 2017) Lawson and I are leaving for Auckland tomorrow (After 35 years) and were planning to visit you and Jack sometime while we were there. Lawson and I thought the world of Jack and YOU and the kids and the memories we had in N.Z. I'm so sorry for your loss.
If you want to send us your email I'd love to talk to you either when we are there or even still here. Hope YOU are well. Would love to hear about your children and Grandchildren if you have the time.
