Sharply was a much liked member of our staff at HNZ Oaonui as a helicopter despatcher.
And then we were all reacquainted when he was involved in fire fighting training. On behalf of all the older HNZ staff who worked with him we offer our sincerest condolences.

Best neighbours ever! Big thanks and much respect to John and Ann Sharp who were my neighbors for 7hrs. MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO SHARP FAMILY AND MUCH LOVE TO YOU ANN. John will never be forgotten by myself and my boy's. He had the patience of a saint and we had many laughs over the hedge. God bless you all. Rest in Peace John as you fought so hard .
