John SHARP Obituary

SHARP, John Robert Harrison (Sharpy). Peacefully at home on 27 December 2016 aged 65 years, after a bravely fought battle. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Anne. Much loved Dad of Tony and Kristie, and Jane and Mike. Proud and doting Grandad of Luke and Jacob. Loved brother uncle and friend to many. Special 'Uncle John' to Jorja, Riley, Oscar, and Charlie. All messages to the Sharp Family c/- P.O. Box 75 Stratford 4352. In preference to flowers a donation may be made to Hospice Taranaki and left at the service. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Sharpy's life, to be held at the Opunake Town Hall, Domett Street Opunake, on Friday 30 December 2016 at 10.00am. A private cremation will be held. Cared for by Eagars Funeral Services FDANZ

Sharply was a much liked member of our staff at HNZ Oaonui as a helicopter despatcher.
And then we were all reacquainted when he was involved in fire fighting training. On behalf of all the older HNZ staff who worked with him we offer our sincerest condolences.

Best neighbours ever! Big thanks and much respect to John and Ann Sharp who were my neighbors for 7hrs. MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO SHARP FAMILY AND MUCH LOVE TO YOU ANN. John will never be forgotten by myself and my boy's. He had the patience of a saint and we had many laughs over the hedge. God bless you all. Rest in Peace John as you fought so hard .
