Dear Mr Rennie
Thinking back over the years, the many memories flood in, such as the amazing steam train you built from scratch and all the things you taught John.
But most of all how wonderful a father you were to John, Helen and Yvonne. As John's mate, I was often around the Rennie household and this was always very obvious.
Our deepest sympathy goes out to Mrs Rennie and the whole family.

Dearest Jack - my NZ father-in-law

I probably knew you best through the eyes of others - especially your son John, my husband. John admired and loved you so much and rightly so - you were a wonderful, loving, kind and supportive father. You taught him so much and gave him such an inspirational example to aspire to. I am a better person for knowing John, and he is a better person for having known you. Thank you.

All of my family here in the UK and the USA and my father over in Vietnam join with me in sending their heartfelt condolences and love to John, Mary, Helen and Yvonne and the rest of the family and your many friends.

You will be much missed but never forgotten.

Safe in the Pure Land
