John RAWCLIFFE Obituary

I still can´t believe this happened so suddenly.
At that time, I thought it was just the busy end of year period with work deadlines and business, and I kept thinking positively when he went silent and didn´t reply to emails.

Until I finally realized this sad news
I was truly shocked and deeply saddened.
He was a kind man who loved his family, and his dedication to his work was very inspiring me.

Rest in peace, John.
You will be deeply missed by all your friends.

It's been a sad and difficult time since John's unexpected death so far away. I ache for his presence and the many messages we shared. I am missing you and the promise of a future built with this last project. I hope the music continues for you..much love Cushla x

It's with deepest sadness that we lost one of our heroes of NZ Manuka Honey industry and a good friend, John´s dedication to the integrity of Manuka honey was unwavering. He remains a part of every harvest, a silent partner in every innovation that seeks to heal and inspire. Our deepest sympathy to his family and close friends.

Saddened to hear of Johns passing ,way to soon , huge condolences to Johns Family , Ella, Nicolas @ Hamish , ill miss the great conversations , tales of his travels visiting Gyms where World Champions had fought , birthplaces of his favorite musicians , sharing those moments with friends that would appreciate it , his long contribution to the Natural Products / NZ Honey Industry , passion for the All Blacks , we were in Kings cross , Sydney on a busy Friday night and i challenged John to Busker , but he had to get paid to win the bet , he won the bet ,lived off that story for ever ...lol

I am sorry to hear of John's passing. We worked together for many years protecting NZ honeys.
I was looking forward to working together again on a new project.

So shocked to hear the news of ("Honey") John's passing at such an early age as we were always in awe of his gym and boxing workouts. We lived vicariously through his stories of his travels around the world. We appreciated the photos of Jimmy Paige's house John sent us whenever he was in the UK as we shared his love of music, particularly guitarists. We remember his Facebook picture of himself playing a guitar in the London underground. Hope you have found your 'Stairway to Heaven' John. Much missed.

I´m a Kiwi living in Malaysia and met John when he decided to move here from Singapore. I was devastated when I found out he passed away. I wondered why my message had not been answered. He was a lovely man. Heartfelt condolences to his family who he always talked about. RIP

I am immensely sorry to hear that John as passed. I had great pleasure in growing up with John in Hokitika. I always enjoyed his company. In later life we made a point to catch up when time allowed, we talked about the past, what was current and challenging, and of cause family. It is hard to believe he has gone. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Johns family at this sad time. kind regards.
