John PARLOUR Obituary

PARLOUR, John (Gary). Passed away on the 17th of March following a brief illness in the care of the Switzer Home. Aged 90. Loving wife Kate. Children - Ruth, Myra (deceased), Jane, James, Malcolm, Gavin, and Campbell. 17 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren. A funeral service was held for Mr Parlour. The Family would like to thank the staff of the Switzer Home for all of the love and care during his stay.

Dear Kate and family, so sorry to hear of Gary's passing. My 2nd cousin in-law. I remember fondly of the day I went to your home on the Kaitaia straight and no one was home so took myself to the Awanui Tavern and there he was and I could have an ale with him and talk about life. Also loved visiting the bottle business in my childhood and having memorable Christmases with all the family back in the 70/80s. Sorry we are unable to be there for the Service and Remembrance. My family and I offer our condolences to you and all the family. Jenny. Craig, Summer, Shannon and Cody Coughlan.
