PALMER, John Collins. Rgt. No.36986, Private, NZ Armed Forces. On 4th August 2014. Peacefully, surrounded by his family at Kimihia Resthome, Huntly after a short stay, in his 97th year. Dearly loved husband of the late May. Much loved father of Pat and Carol, Marie and Jack Farr, Marianne and the late Jordan Tenamu, Ray Harlow (deceased) and Lynne, Johnny (deceased) and Shirley. Loved grandfather, great grandfather and great great grandfather. “Will be sadly missed by us all� Our heartfelt thanks goes to Dr John Gates and the Staff at Kimihia Resthome. John's Service will be held at the Chapel of Memories, 32 William Street, Huntly, tomorrow (Thursday) 7th of August at 11:00 AM to be followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to Kimihia Resthome in John's memory would be appreciated and can posted to 76 Rosser Street, Huntly or left at the service.
