John O'HAGAN Obituary

O'HAGAN, John Benjamin. On June 19, 2012 peacefully at home after a short illness; aged 73 years. Dearly loved husband and best mate of Kay. Very much loved father and father-in-law of Leanne and Paul Freeman, Denise O'Hagan and Peter Marshall, Kevin and Louise O'Hagan, Terry and Nicole O'Hagan (Australia), Janelle and Glenn Pool, Erin and Chris Hanley, Catherine and Dale Foreman. Loved Grandad of Lana; Christopher, Anna, and Katie; Laura and Daniel; Ashlee, Codey, and Ngaia; Olivia, Liam, Emily, and Aiden; Jesse and Matthew; Caleb, Sammy, and Jack. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Michael and Beverley O'Hagan (Wellington). 'We are you and you are us. We will remain inseparable. It is within our hearts that we will remain one. It is in our minds and with all our memories that we will always stay together.' A Requiem Mass for John will be held at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, cnr Kamo Road and Park Avenue (entrance off Park Avenue), Kensington, Whangarei, 10:30am, Saturday, 23 June 2012, followed by interment at Maunu Park Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Maunu, Whangarei. In lieu of flowers, donations (in John's memory) to the Child Cancer Foundation, Northland Branch, PO Box 10037, Te Mai, Whangarei 0143 would be appreciated. Our memory was of a fleeting time ,spent with us ,on your travels. You have left us with lovely thoughts of a special couple . I pray you do find peace in the days ahead ,when memories of the past come to mind. Isobel and Patrick and family.
