Well John - you are gone but the memories linger - and there were some great memories!
"He led a gentle life and the elements were so mixed in him that Nature might stand up and say, to all the world, This was a man!

At the beginning of my life you used to wake me up when I was a baby and take me out to the lounge so we could play. My grandfather once said, "I hope you have twins you mean bugger". It was so special to spend time with you last week, at the end of your life. Love you xxx.

NICHOLSON, John. Greatly admired, highly esteemed and hugely respected Patron and Life Member of the Onewhero Rugby Football Club. John is a past Manager of many teams, Treasurer, Delegate and President. A wonderful, wonderful man who always had time for everyone, was so proud of the Onewhero Club and was incredibly generous in so many ways to both the Club and the players. Our heartfelt condolences go to Claire, Sally, Chris and the wider Nicholson family. We have lost a legend.
