MURPHY, John Keith Jack (Jack). 98 passed away peacefully on June 8th, with Ann, his beloved wife of 70 years by his side. Much loved husband, father and grandfather, and WWII veteran. Jack believed in education and was the first in his large family to get a degree. We remember Jack for his warmth, kindness and fun. A memorial service will be held at the Arawa Bowling Club Rotorua, on Sunday 23rd June, from 1-5pm.

Jack was one of my role models as a young boy. He fought against the stupidity that was Rotorua Boys High. Mrs Murphy was another mum and Linda and Peter good friends. Will never forget his life lessons and amazing square dancing calling. Rest in peace Jack. I will always hear you in my head x.
