MORONEY, John Louis. Peacefully at Tauranga on 8 March 2011, just short of his 80th birthday. Dearly loved husband of Peggy. Loved father of Joan and Colin McLellan (New Plymouth), Anna and Jack Ponting (Wellington), David and Maureen Moroney (Tauranga), Sean and Maria Moroney (Melbourne), Moira Moroney and Bob Sievwright (Tauranga), Kelly and the late Philip Moroney (Tauranga). Grandad of Bradley and Anna, Karen, Gary McLellan and Victoria and Louise McLellan; Michael Ponting; Lisa and Scott Moroney; Alex Stewart and Malachi Moroney. Great- grandad of Caymen and Tallarah; Larissa, Halley and Jesse; Daniel. A service for John will be held in the Church of the Holy Angels, Hohaia Street, Matamata at 11am on Saturday 12 March 2011 followed by a brief service at the Matamata Cemetery.
