John McKAY Obituary

McKAY, John David. N.Z.7378 WWII on 10th July 2017 at Jane Mander Hospital Whangerei. Aged 95 years. Very dearly loved husband of Joyce for 70 years. Loved father and father in law of Lu and Fran, Heather and Dave, Wendy and Ross. Loved Pa of his 7 grandchildren Rob and Rebecca; Richard, Stewart and Sam; Millie and Annie, and their families including nine great grandchildren. Most sincere thanks to all of the staff at Jane Mander Retirement Village, Whangerei for their wonderful care of John and their support of the family. A celebration of John's life will be held at Christ Church, (Anglican Church) corner Kamo Road and Mill Road, Regent Whangerei on Friday 14th July 2017 at 1pm followed by private cremation.
