John MAYBURY Obituary

MAYBURY, John Erneste. Passed away on Sunday 16th October 2016 at North Shore Hospital, aged 87 years. Treasured husband of the late Helen (now reunited), son of the late Nellie and Jack Maybury, beloved brother of Shirley, half brother to Vaughan and Sonja, dearly loved father of Jan, Sue, Diane and John Jr; much loved Pop of Bryn, Nico, Rowan and Tui; father-in-law of Newt, Eric, Hamid and Malcolm; Great Pop of Ana, Hunter, Saige and Marika; uncle and great uncle to Shaquelle and Ascia; and cherished and loyal friend to many in New Zealand and Australia. A shining star of radio, quiz and our family. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St Joseph's Church, 10 Dominion Street, Takapuna on Tuesday, October 25th at 12.30pm. Special thanks to the hospital staff for their care and attention.
