I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. I worked with John as a younger would be apprentice. He was an awesome guy and I think of my time with him and the guys often.

We were so sad to get the news of your passing John. You will be missed by our family when we visit Napier - a hello over the fence or a drink on a balmy evening!

Please know Sue that we are thinking of you and your family and next time we are in the Bay we will visit to say this in person. Sorry that we can't come today!!

We will have a toast in your honour this evening, John!!

We didn't always see 'eye to eye' but he was always my big brother even though to this day I love you John. When you see mama and daddy, please tell them I love & miss them. Your once boisterous kid sister. Donna xo
