John LEANING Obituary

Sorry to recently hear of the passing of my old school friend John in 2015. I remember him and the Leaning family well in Herne Bay during the 1960s.

I was truly saddened to hear yesterday evening of John's death in 2015. The news came as a complete surprise. John was a true gentleman. He was a friend to me when I most needed it and I will remain forever grateful to him for his kindness and good humour. My condolences to his family and his dear ones.

I just received a note and copies of the memorial & funeral services from Pranesh of John's untimely passing and I am deeply saddened. His note was in response to our annual Christmas card exchange. I have know John for 20 years. We met while I was living and working in London and we've stayed in touch over the years. John was an interesting and intelligent guy and I always enjoyed being in his company. My sincere condolences to those nearest and dearest to him. Harold McRae, Chicago, IL USA

I'm so saddend to read that John passed away, i have been trying to contact him for the past months to let him know that my David passed away in October.

John knew how to sparkle. Will miss him dearly

Shocked to hear of John's death today. John is my first cousin and such a pleasant and interesting person. Intelligent, artistic, astute business man, a man for all seasons. I will treasure the times I have spent with him, particularly staying in Taupo when I took my mother, John's god mother to stay. The memories will live on.
