John LANCASTER Obituary

LANCASTER, John. Lancaster John. Passed away peacefully at Tauranga Hospital on 24 March 2021 in his 80th year. Loved husband of Dell (deceased). Treasured memories forever will be shared by his close family and special friends. A very well-respected club member and secretary of the NZ Morgan Car Club. Special thanks from the family to the Doctors, Nurses and staff for their exceptional care and compassion. In accordance with Johns wishes a cremation has taken place.

John was a long time friend of my parents Rex and Beryl Capper. My Dad worked with John in the late 60's and they remained friends throughout the years. I remember the Morgan and even having a ride in it a very long time ago. They had stamp collecting in common and John would drive to my parents place to have lunch. Dad died in 2017 and John continued to call my mum to have a chat and catch up. My mum has been worried that she hadn't heard from John as she knew he was unwell. She will be pleased he is no longer suffering.
