RIP John. Thanks for the hospitality you and Dale always should me at Temple Street - I could always count on a bed to crash in Wills downstairs den. I may not have been the quietest guest but you always welcomed me back! You put up with us rascals when you didn't have to and I will forever be grateful. A champion among men. Rest easy.

Great memories of Joss especially being his locking partner in the 68 1stXV.
Many a Sunday roast shared with my family to get away from the boarders lounge
And sharing the summer of 69 in Whangamata with his family.
Will miss our regular catch ups.
RIP friend

Tiger Coats on display in these shots from the 125th reunion at NPBHS in 2007. Although John and I were both from Otorohanga, both born in 1949, my memories of him are from NPBHS...Lindsay Spilman

So sorry to hear of John´s death.
We were boarders in the same house and years and I have very fond memories of "Joss", a popular school friend.
I especially remember him as a great middle distance runner with a wicked sense of humour. My condolences to his family. Greg Arnold
