John HARRIS Obituary

HARRIS, John Brayshaw (Jack). Major (retired Salvation Army). Died peacefully in North Shore Hospital after a short illness on 5th March 2025, aged 97. Devoted husband of Nancy (deceased) for 64 years. Dearly loved father and father-in-law to Sheryl (deceased 23rd Feb 2025), John, Jennifer and Laurie, Jeanette and Bill, Stephen and Cherrie. Cherished 'Grandie' to Matthew, Jacqueline, Joanne and Rachel, Cameron and Jayden, Theo, Daniel and Sarah, Bethany and Julian. Treasured great-grandie to Pearl and Cohen, Cole and Toby, Phoebe, Ruby and Luca, Summer, Joseph and Olive. A service for Jack will be held at Glenfield Salvation Army 430 Glenfield Road on Saturday 15th March at 1pm. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to The Bible Society.
