John HARDING Obituary

HARDING, John Russell. No 391159 Royal NZAF WWII. On 22nd August 2013 finally at peace after a short illness. Much loved husband and soulmate for 66 years of Betty. Loved and admired Dad of Janne, and Russell and Robyn. A dearly loved grandad to Rochelle, Jarrod, Michael and Steven, and great grandad to Hollie and Indigo. The family acknowledge the tremendous care given to John by the medical and care team of Ward 34E at Middlemore Hospital over the last 3 weeks. A difficult time was helped by the high level of support and attention given to John and our family until his passing. A celebration of John's life will be held at the St Lukes Anglican Church, 3 Russell Road, Manurewa on Wednesday 28 August 2013 at 11.30am prior to private cremation. HARDING, John Russell 1924 - 2013 My Dad, you were incredible, loving, kind and non-judgemental. You were always positive, a man of few words and very accepting. Between you and Mum together, you gave me strength, taught me love and respect by example. Your love for each other is truly a happily ever after story. I thank you Dad for being the pinnacle of our family. We lived a life of love, harmony and unity. Dad your love for your family was paramount to you and I know it will follow us, stay with us and we will never be alone. You will always be in my heart forever, your loving daughter, Janne xx
