John GILBERT Obituary

GILBERT, John Charles. Of Paraparaumu. On Thursday, 17th July 2014 at home, aged 62 years, after living with Motor Neurone Disease for the past five months. John leaves behind his wife, Jo Milne; parents, Thelma and Allan; sons, Paul, Ian and Christopher (his children with Linda); sister, Jane; nephew, Matt; stepchildren, Mel and Paul; his grandchildren, Kai and Ash Milne. Family and friends are invited to remember John at a service to be held at Paraparaumu Beach Golf Club, Kapiti Road, Paraparaumu, at 2.30pm on Tuesday, 22nd July 2014. Messages for the Gilbert/ Milne Families, please, may be sent c/- PO Box 119, Paraparaumu 5254. So saddened to hear of John's untimely death.Its many years since we worked together at UDC-outside of work,we kept each other fit by playing tennis and visiting the gym together. Rest in peace my friend.
