John GAUKRODGER Obituary

GAUKRODGER, John Harold. Died peacefully on Wednesday 4 December 2024, aged 83. Dearly loved husband and soul mate of Helen for over 55 years. Much loved Dad and Father-in-law of Steve and Jo, Andrew and Olivia, Sarah and Bevan and adored Pop to Max, Charlie, Greta, Anneliese, Georgia, Archie and Lulu. The family thanks the brilliant Dr Joseph Linyama and his team in Waikato Hospital's OPR ward for their thoughtful and dedicated care of John. A private cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate John's life will be held in mid-January. Details to be advised. Seddon Park Funeral Home

Dear Helen you were blessed to have met each other at the perfect time in your lives, what wonderful dear dear memories you have to treasure. How much we enjoyed sharing stories together with you both.
Many happy memories of time shared as prefects at Mt. Albert Grammar School in 1959. Then 63 years later to meet again at Tamahere Country Club and hear your modest account of your impressive international business career. But best of all to meet Helen and share gentle times together blending kindness and wisdom. Blessings upon you both.
