Dr.John.E.Foy.Nelson.
26th January,2019, a day of remembrance in the life of our dearest John who went above and beyond the call of duty when sharing and embracing his indefatigable passionate life of love and devotion.
Lost to us five weeks later.
So sorrowfully missed by all his family. J.V.F.

Your life is entwined with ours your beloved family. Fifty-one years we shared with you, loving you every day. The sadness for the loss of you is etched into our souls. We all loved you and are grateful for your kindnesses, generosity of spirit,loyalty, dignity,encouragement, which are among the many attributes others have honoured.
Today is a special day of Remembrance and we thank those who have contacted us recently.

Life connects us to people who leave an indelible mark. Their lifes work and unbridled passion inspire and challenge us to be a better version of ourselves. Their integrity and honesty, self sacrifice and kindness set them apart in a world besieged with challenges. John made a difference and leaves a lasting legacy at North Harbour Hospital. We remember him with love and deep affection.

We are deeply saddened to hear of John's passing. During the time Pene was in Nelson Hospital and following that, John stayed in contact. His compassion, empathy, advice, warm hearted and kind words helped us and our extended family immensely. He will always be remembered in our hearts. Thank you John, it was a privilege to share time with you. Colin and Pene.

My husband and I met you at a dinner at Susanne busches home , I then met you again John in the operating theatre last year where you made me feel at ease and it was so comforting knowing I was in your hands , I'm shocked and saddened greatly to hear of your passing ! This is so so sad . Thoughts to your family and friends what s huge loss.

You were a light in our theatre world and such a brilliant person to know, I can't believe you aren't here to have a laugh and share your knowledge so willingly with us all. You will be so missed by many, much love to your wonderful family, Karen, Max and Bob.

Karen & Family, so sorry to hear about Dr John. Having known him for 14 years in a personal business capacity, I was always inspired by his work and passion for his profession and for his family. He always brightened my day when conversing either in person, on the phone, or by email. He will be sadly missed.

So sorry to hear of John's passing. A truly kind, generous, intelligent and inspiring character. He was a pleasure to work with and certainly brightened up many a day. He will be missed greatly by all who met him.

What a huge loss you are John - Karen, Max and Bob he was so proud of and loved you all dearly - John was such a gifted doctor, one of the very best Anaesthetists I've had the pleasure to work along side - He was kind and gracious and uplifting. Much love and blessings to you and his whanau

Dear Max, Bob and Karen, we are so sad that you have lost your dad/husband. John always had a brilliant idea or an adventure to share and we really enjoyed his company.
