FERNANDEZ, John Rhystyd. Born 16 June 1948 - Passed away peacefully on 27 May 2025. A ceremony celebrating the life of this genuine rough diamond will be held at the Mangakura Boat Club, 3681 Kaipara Coast Highway, on Saturday 14 June at 1:00pm. Please bring a plate. He is deeply missed by many.

Can't believe you are not going to be around using having a beer and a laugh Johnno. I know you're certainly gonna keep everyone upstairs on their toes. Sorry I can't be there today to share all the stories and fun times we've had over the years. My condolences to all your family and friends. RIP mate. You'll never be forgotten

Memories of my childhood friend. Many a day spent with John and his two brothers when our families got together. Last saw him about 20 years ago. I love the description of him. My childhood friend was a one of a kind that´s for sure. Daphne Clark (née Slowther)
